Evelinn Trouble — Dark Times (To Those Born After)
«Dark Times (To Those Born After)» is a song about powerlessness in face of endless cycles of war and human cruelty. It references the famous poem of the same name by german playwright Bertolt Brecht, written in the years leading up to the powergrab of the Nazis and the horrors to come. Trouble's sad hommage is a haunting, restless anti-war anthem that has no answers, but makes us twitch with unease.
With «Dark Times (To Those Born After)» Evelinn Trouble releases the seventh song of her serial project "Season Indicators": every six weeks, a new gem from her seemingly inexhaustible song archive emerges. The «Season Indicators» will be released as an album on vinyl on June 21st 2024.
