Palinstar — Who Knows
‘Who Knows’ marked the beginning: the first song Palinstar wrote and produced for her debut album. Starting from solo vocals and guitar, it evolved into a driving little anthem for the early hours. Drummer and co-producer Mario Hänni (Mnevis, Sophie Hunger, Pina Palau) was instructed to improvise two drum tracks, giving the piece a rumbling feel. Fuzz guitar, Musicmaster bass lines, and Palinstar's timeless vocals are wonderfully balanced. As a counterpart to its status as the first songwriting step, 'Who Knows' will be the last single released before the album 'Backtrain Places,' which will drop via Mouthwatering Records in early 2025. Starting in October, Palinstar will also be on tour throughout Switzerland with more than ten concerts, including appearances at the Echolot Festival Lucerne and the legendary Bad Bonn in Düdingen.
