Gina Pelosi — 100 to 0
On October 16 2026, Gina Pelosi will release her first single 100 to 0 with Mouthwatering Records. The musician from basel and her live band offer us a promising preview on her debut album «Don’t Let the Monsters Get You» (April 2027). Behind this catchy single lies a meticulous arrangement, produced by Alon Ben and recorded live in one take. It’s a song with a fragile, folkinspired urgency, written for the car stereos of the heartbroken. “The speed’s overwhelming,” sings Gina Pelosi—a relationship in fastforward, a surprising breakup, and at the same time an apt description of the band’s drive. Warm indie folk-pop, the guitar slides tugging at your chest, the drums and bass a deeply sorrowful heart: “‘Cause to feel means to hurt / Hurt means to work / Work means to feel but to feel you would have to let go.” Gina Pelosi’s voice sounds close, immediate, and yet it is everywhere: the glimmer above the asphalt as we drive past endless fields, and the Mellotron in the chorus fluttering in through the rolled-down car window like a warm gust of wind.
