IKAN HYU — ꕥ flying V

With ꕥ flying V, IKAN HYU release the fourth single of their upcoming debut album. Fans who have been following the band for a while, might recognise certain similarities to their song Resonate Soulmate. Just like in that song, the synthbass and guitar in ꕥ flying V simultaneously play the same melody and melt together into an unmistakable “Ikan-orchestra”. Although the song is named after the guitar model with which it is performed on stage, its lyrics are not actually about guitars but talk about sexuality, connection and spirituality. Recorded during a live session in Berlin (where drums, guitar and synthbass were also recorded together), the soulful vocals retain something rough and tangible. With ꕥ flying V, IKAN HYU seduce the listener into a world of ecstasy, reverberating beats and roaring guitar solos.
