Tal Arditi — Whatever You Want

Tal Arditi Releases “Whatever You Want” – a Groovy Breakup Anthem from Upcoming Debut Album “Love Myself”

With Whatever You Want”, Tal Arditi marks a bold step forward in his evolution as a singer-songwriter and producer. Taken from his debut album Love Myself”, out May 29th, the track blends Arditi’s acoustic roots with shimmering electronic textures, creating a rhythm-driven breakup anthem that’s both emotionally raw and irresistibly groovy.

A Fusion of Skills and Sensibility
Whatever You Want” showcases the full range of Tal Arditi’s artistic palette. Known for his intricate guitar work and emotionally resonant songwriting, Arditi now steps confidently into the world of pop-inspired production, marrying warm acoustic tones with subtle synths and pulsing rhythms. It’s a song that feels both refined and spontaneous — a testament to his ability to distill complexity into its purest form.

The Pain of Trying Too Hard
Lyrically, Whatever You Want” captures the emotional tension of trying — and failing — to meet someone else’s expectations in a relationship. Lines like “Whatever you want, whatever you need / That’s what I’ll do — just wait and see” carry the weight of over-promising, only to realize that love can’t be sustained by effort alone. It’s a song about heartbreak wrapped in movement — a contrast that reflects the bittersweet reality of letting go.

In Tal’s Own Words
To me, Whatever You Want is about people-pleasing — trying to keep someone else happy at the cost of your own needs, until you realize it’s just not sustainable.
Musically, I had fun building it around a steady groove between guitar and bass, letting the arrangement grow like an arc — slowly opening up from start to finish.

Introducing “Love Myself”
The track is a key piece of Arditi’s upcoming debut album Love Myself”, a deeply personal collection that marks his transition from jazz virtuoso to fully-formed singer-songwriter. With themes of self-worth, vulnerability, and emotional reckoning, the album sees Arditi finding new clarity — musically and lyrically — while staying true to the honesty that has defined his artistry all along.
