Aloan — Now
It took almost ten years for this unreleased trackof Aloan to come out of the depths of time as if rejected by the ocean after a too long gestation. Halfway between Amy Winhouse and Tricky, this song transports us in Aloan's universe, the heart moved by Lyn M's soulful voice and Vincent Hänni's (Young Gods) languorous guitar. Composed, arranged and produced by Alain Frey, it was mixed and mastered in Los Angeles in 2011 by the great Husky Höskulds (Tom Waits, Betty Lavett, Solomon Burk, Nora Jones...).
Today it is released under the label Mouthwatering Records (Black Sea Dahu, Muthonni Drummer Queen, Evelinn Trouble...) and celebrates Aloan's 20th anniversary.
Active between 2001 and 2014, Aloan has been a musical reference in Switzerland. Nominated twice at the Swiss Music Awards, at the Swiss Top Band on the national radio SRF 3 in 2010, the project stood out for its national recognition and its presence in the Swiss charts for several years. Their powerful live performances have also allowed them to play in renowned clubs and festivals such as the Paleo Festival in Nyon, theGurten Festival, the Eurockéennes in Belfort, the Printemps de Bourges, the Zenith in Paris, the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, the Forest National in Brussels, The Wall in Taipei...
Today, with a new twist, the group counts tens of thousands of Tik-tok videos worldwide, an average of 20'000 spotify listeners and 55'000 streams per month (15'000 on Apple Music and more than 7000 shazams per month).
