Silver Birch — Yourself

After a short phase of spreading his wings and playing concerts under the name Silver Birch, the pandemic made singer-songwriter Patrick Lerjen draw back to the shelter of his one-room studio, where he recorded 19 songs.

In his soothing indie-folk debut single Yourself, he is contemplating about our daily hunt for approval and how we should strive to be curious and vulnerable human beings instead.

It was evident from the start, that the song should stay in the intimate state, it originally had been written in; Lerjen’s warm voice, guitar picking , and a bunch of dreamy e-piano throw-ins.
