„Forever for a Day“ is a stripped down, intimate version of Elio Ricca’s latest release. Just an acoustic guitar and his voice, topped off with a few tremolo guitar notes and some tambourine, which give the song a „bang bang“ touch of western and nostalgia. The lyrics are about wanting to fall in love but holding back because of insecurities. Elio Ricca shows a very honest and fragile side of himself in this song. The lo-fi aesthetic is reminescent of quieter Beatles and Lucio Battisti Songs, giving the song a sense of timelessness and sentimentality.
